Fire Alarm Systems: Properties are required to supply a certificate and an inspection report by a third party (professional service company) ANNUALLY to comply with the Fire Department requirements in Ontario. 

Kitchen Suppression Systems: Facilities are required to supply an inspection certificate (and/or an inspection report) SEMI-ANNUALLY by a third party (professional service company) to comply with the Fire Department requirements in Ontario. 

Fire Extinguishers: ANNUAL inspection is mandated by a third party (professional service company).

The prices vary based on the type of services, the types of the equipments, the complexity of the protection systems, the size of the building, and the type of business. 

• Monthly checks: You can handle basic tasks like monthly inspections and tests yourself. Engaging professional services for monthly inspections removes the liability off your shoulders.

• All other maintenance and checks: However, for installing new systems (fire-alarm, sprinkler, kitchen, paint-booth, and others), fire alarm verifications, semi-annual and annual system inspections, annual inspections fire extinguishers (especially commercial based), developing detailed fire plans, or addressing any concerns about your facility's overall fire code compliance, it's always best to engage qualified fire safety professional services.
